Originally from Co Tipperary, Siobhán was based in the heart of the racing industry in Co Kildare for over a decade before moving to her present home in the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains outside Dunlavin, where she now lives with her partner Robert, a farmer, and their young son, Robert.
An equestrian journalist for almost 20 years, Siobhán now combines both professions when the opportunity arises, particularly for travel commissions. Her profile image was taken during a three-week equestrian press trip to Tanzania and Kenya in September 2014, during which time she met many wonderful people from the Maasai community.
While Siobhan's summers are kept busy with a variety of projects, for much of the winter she concentrates on field sport photography, namely fox-hunting and shooting.
Between her images and writing she supplies material to a wide variety of publications across the world, including Horse International, The Chronicle of the Horse, Irish Independent, The Irish Field, Horse Sport, L'Annee Hippique, Pferdsport, and several others.
Siobhán is available for equestrian commissions, particularly commercial, along with animal portraits, and weddings. Please feel free to follow her work on Facebook.
